Built from the ground up, these beautiful units are located in the main resort, closest to the lobby, and higher inland than the more recent phases. They offer a good compromise between seclusion and convenience of the main resort, but parking is far, and there are no real ovens, just convection ovens.
These units are mostly floating within the season purchased, although I understand a premium could be paid at the time of purchase for fixing the week and/or unit. My understanding is that fixed set up is not common in this Phase. As per the latest VSN Rules and Regulations Document, there are 54 units, contained in 4 buildings.
The Bay Vista Phase began the “Voluntary” phases in WSJ. What this means is that you will only receive StarOptions if you purchase from the developer. If you buy resale from an existing owner, all you have a right to is your unit type in your applicable season. So if you want flexibility, you may want to reconsider buying this Phase, unless you are comfortable depositing your unit in Interval if you can’t use or rent it in a given year.
